The Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare's  National Families Week 2026 Children’s Art Competition invites children and young people to share their creativity and imagination through art.

Open to children and young people under 18 living in Victoria or Tasmania, the competition celebrates how children express joy, connection and wellbeing through the theme:

“What makes you feel happy?”

Children are encouraged to submit an original artwork that reflects their own ideas, experiences and creativity. Selected artworks will be celebrated as part of National Families Week, with opportunities for exhibition and recognition at Centre events throughout the year.
